A vision to help children approach the new school year with confidence began with a simple act of generosity.
Back to School 1.0 was HopeSpring Foundation’s first education outreach — a modest but meaningful gathering in Riverside County on August 5, 2023. What started as a simple desire to help children walk into a new school year with confidence became the seed of a multi-year initiative that continues to grow.
That day, 32 people came together in community. 10 children received backpacks filled with essential school supplies, and 35 educational and inspirational resources were placed into the hands of families. The entire program was delivered with an investment of $360 — proof that impact does not always require large budgets, only clear purpose and faithful action.
What began with 10 children became the foundation for a growing Riverside County community initiative.
